When will the Gram token come out?

Many press releases said that the release date for the GRAM token was announced for March 2019 but that didn’t happen.

The development of the third generation blockchain requires large resources, although developers are optimistic for the developing best practices of the global Open Source community.

In the future, it will be possible to conduct ICO on the TON platform and anyone will be able to create tokens. The leaders of some projects have already announced that they are planning to create them on the Telegram Open Network blockchain platform.

As we said earlier, Pavel Andreev, the creator of the Crypt-ON project, has high hopes for the Ton blockchain platform and the Telegram infrastructure.

Opera will add TRON support to its in-browser cryptocurrency wallet

The administration of the world famous web browser Opera began to cooperate with representatives of TRON. Opera is aimed at providing TRX support, as well as Tron decentralized applications (dapps) support within the browser. Both partners expect good results from the collaboration.

The Opera web browser was developed in 1995. Today it is the only browser with Web 3 support. Moreover, unlike its counterparts, Opera has its own cryptocurrency wallet.

It should be recalled that Opera Software rolled out a desktop version Opera 60 (Reborn 3), which has a built-in cryptocurrency wallet and Web 3 support. Opera users can also use the built-in VPN service that provides encryption of data. The service will help to hide the user’s geolocation and block advertisements.

At the moment, a web browser’s e-wallet supports ETH and ERC tokens. In the future, it is planned to add TRX. A successful collaboration of popular projects allows users to launch the Tron dapps using the Opera browser.
The integration of the ETH-wallet with the desktop version of the browser took place in August 2018. Then Opera Software launched a browser with a built-in ETH wallet.

Telegram releases lite client for Telegram Open Network

On May 30, 2019, Telegram released a preliminary version of the lite client for Telegram Open Network (TON). Users gained access to the test client of the blockchain platform.

The simplified version includes only the Abseil library and the RocksDB database. Additionally, the compilation and installation of the lite client are necessary, after which it will connect to the Telegram Open Network.

Together with the client, there were also released:

Source codes for TON with all third-party libraries.
The configuration file required for the client.
Compilation and installation instructions.
The guidance for creating smart contracts.
Whitepaper with a general description of the network and the blockchain platform is duplicated.

The page is available online, but Pavel Durov or someone else from the management team of the Telegram Open Network did not confirm the accuracy of the data published on the page.

We remind you that earlier the developers of the Telegram Open Network reported to the cryptocurrency community about the successful conduct of private testing of the platform, which is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2019.

Features of Telegram’s blockchain platform are revealed

The Bell conducted research and analyzed the technical documentation of Telegram’s blockchain platform. To remind, the release of Durov’s project is due to take place in the nearest future. After a detailed assessment, the edition totaled the idea of TON’s work and opportunities.

Pavel Durov does not create a simple Blockchain. On the basis of TON, the new ecosystem will be reproduced. It will be capable to replace the standard network. Its own systems, applications, and services will be integrated into the Blockchain. Besides, analogs of modern websites will be included here.

The project allows working with external applications which are integrated by means of specifically developed gateways. The platform will be freely integrated with all existing systems and applications.

The project will provide its users with a large list of services. The TON Payments service is considered the basic one. This is an application with a cryptocurrency wallet linked to it. Also, the TON DNS service will be launched. It will allow transforming Blockchain addresses to a legible format. The Storage is a storage space for a large number of files. Completely autonomous bots will be created. Services will be included in the messenger of Telegrams. The possibility of creating a certain semblance of Facebook is specified in the documentation.

The unique architecture of the project gives an opportunity to produce millions of transactions within one second. Elliptic cryptography, in combination with the specially designed programming language Fift, was applied to ensure safety. At the moment the project is passing through the final stage of testing, in which a limited number of the companies take part. The launch has to take place on October 31 in the current year. If Durov’s team is not able to meet the specified deadline, then brothers will have to return 1 billion 700 million dollars to investors.

Telegram 5.7: features of innovations

At the beginning of the month Telegram launched new mobile applications under version 5.7. In particular, several new mechanisms have been implemented. They are used to set up an increased level of privacy. In addition, the developers have replaced third-party mechanisms when commenting in chat rooms.

After the updates, it became possible to hide the phone number, including contacts. In the settings you will be able to set exceptions. For example, the number will not be shown to anyone except the participants of a particular channel. Earlier, the number was shown to everyone, without exception, in automatic mode.

Important! You can now set exceptions for chats and other privacy settings. Prior to the changes, exceptions were set only for individual users.

Note that in this version is implemented, something like commenting for channels. To do this, a link of the channel and chat is made. The Discuss button will appear on the channel. In the future, all messages will be automatically relayed and fixed in the conversation.

After the launch of version 5.7, the connection of bots and sites has been simplified. The bot will offer to automatically log in to the selected site. Accordingly, by the time you log on to the resource authorization will be passed.

Additional innovations in version 5.7

1. An icon will appear to warn you of possible fraud associated with suspicious accounts.

2. For Android, confirmation dialogs have been redrawn and made more stylish.

3. For Android changed the interface to switch the theme of the application.

5. For iOS has introduced the possibility of establishing links to the allocation of the site or the entire text of the message.

6. IOS introduced the ability to support the necessary thumbnails for PDF files.

7. For iOS implemented the ability to support animated stickers in tgs format.
