Listen, I have a lot of time on my hands these days. It's not like I can be out and about when I'm doing treatment. So I've been considering giving back to the community and doing one-on-one sessions with photographers just starting their journey. I'm no pro and have a lot to learn myself but I still have so much respect to those who have given me tips and advice along the way. If you're at all interested, let me know. I can set this up and we can do video sessions. Tag your friend, tag your family, tag everyone! 😂 Also, thanks to everyone for constantly checking in and messaging me. I did some reminiscing about my time in Cape Town, South Africa way back in 2011 in my story. It's crazy how much I've documented life. Hard drives filled with memories. Cheers to looking back at all the great times! Here's another one from Bangkok, Thailand. 🙌🏽✊🏽🎉🍻
Today was a crappy day. Wasted in bed. I guess I'm feeling nervous about tomorrow's biopsy. More tests, more needles and more anxiety. After laying around all day, I'm wide awake and telling myself what a good friend told me today. I may not be able to control what's thrown on my plate, but I still have control over what to do with it. Of course I'll have a lot more crappy days but I can still have happy moments. Now time to work on Pt. 2 of Thailand that hopefully will be up by tomorrow so I can share with you all one of my favorite sets. Ever. Cheers @casey_you_savage for the nudge. Before starting chemo, I told myself I'm going to dig through my external hard drives and share photos to remind myself I'll have happy moments. Well yesterday the nausea was pretty bad and all I kept thinking about was camping. Feeling so free, disconnected and smelling like camp fire 😂 We camped 6 times last year. I guess this year is put to a pause but I plan on going once I'm all better. For now, let's do some reminiscing. Thanks @akiremae
